Ice Cream Tips
-
Troubleshooting:
- Icy Texture: Strain more liquid from the cottage cheese.
- Too Hard: Use higher-fat cottage cheese or let it thaw longer before scooping.
- Not Smooth: Blend for an additional 30–60 seconds in the food processor.
-
Topping Ideas:
- Beyond the standard toppings, try mini chocolate chips, chopped walnuts, a swirl of berry compote, whipped cream, or colorful sprinkles.
-
Storage:
- Store in an airtight, freezer-safe container for up to 2–3 weeks. To prevent freezer burn, press parchment paper or plastic wrap directly onto the ice cream's surface before sealing.
